Any hockey player can build a training space to stickhandling, shoot, pass on as big or small they need to be. You can start with small area and slowly expand and build on it as time goes on.
Exactly as advertised. Flooring tiles that mimic the smoothness of an ice rink. Of course it's not the same thing and I don't think you'd want adults or anyone but children take slapshots on this flooring. But it's really designed for practicing stick handling and it does that beautifully. Paired with a puck return device it also lets anyone practice their passing accuracy. It'll cost a bit to cover enough space to get really good practice in but if you're serious about getting better at hockey this is a wonderful tool.
I was not a big fan I think for younger kids who just start they would be great but for older kids in high school who have a really hard shot and shoot a lot the board wore out and I have used them for a bout a month and already have chipped the bored so the puck will hit the chip sometimes and isn't smooth anymore

45 years ago when I was 8 I tried a balance board at a ski shop. My mom (who I love) said "They want $50 for a board and a roller?" Well she pissed me off last week and I bought one. Now I can't get enough of it! I will be balancing next to the table at Thanksgiving this year giving her the stink eye. DO NOT WAIT 45 YEARS!
I have been pleased with my new Revolution Balance Board. I purchased it as a tool to help me re-learn the elementary balance skills that I lost over time to aging and peripheral neuropathy. Exercising and wobble boards are becoming boring to me. So, I decided to try something that would be exciting, risky, and inspire me to aspire. It has only been a few days, but the Revolution 101 has exceed my expectations. Even though I started training a few months ago, my sense of balance is poor, I have to start with the very basics to use this board. But, with the help of some YouTube basic balancing exercises and balance board training material (from a competing brand), I am having a blast. My board is a quality product, nicely finished, and looks appealing. It was shipped and delivered promptly and ahead of schedule.
I've used other balance boards, like the Bosu and Yes 4 All's wooden board. I purchased this board because I was looking for a greater challenge. This board is definitely more challenging than the other boards I've tried. I'm pretty advanced on the other boards and even use them while typing all day and doing various one-legged yoga poses and weight lifting moves. On this board, however, I'm a beginner again! I definitely recommend starting on either thick carpet or grass. I thought I would be able to master it in a week and start using it at my standing desk, but I think that would only result in me taking out the cubes next to me! If you're looking for a greater challenge, then this is definitely the board and roller for you.

My enemy is an incredibly dynamic training tool you can use off the ice to improve your hands and your hand coordination in lots of different ways. What is so unique about this product is that it is adaptable. You can put it in any shape you want to walk on various different skills while you are off the ice pretty much everywhere where you like to practice. In terms of the ways it has been constructed it has a series of joints or pivet points. And that is what makes it so dynamic and allows you to move around so freely. This is what separates these conserve training aids from fixed training aids. This thing is so compact and incredibly light. It’s a kind of training aid that can travel with you.
I thought I had already written a review but I'm glad the company asked me again. This is probably the most important off, even on, ice tool that I've gotten. I got it for my son and was recommended to me by his coach. I was asking what I can do to help him as a beginning player and was looking at this and a shooting pad. My son's coach said that in any level, stick handling is important, it doesn't matter how fast you can skate if you can't get the puck where you need it.This helps because it forces you to have a set plain where you have to loose contact with the puck and reaquire it. It's not stick handling when you're just rolling the puck, or in this case the ball around, mimicking action. You need a hard line to basically break contact with the puck and anticipate it's trajectory. The app it comes with also makes it fun and less monotonous. Specially with the ability to change angles. Definitely worth it!!
Does the job, but it's not very durable at all and slides all over the place on tile/concrete. You have to be flawless or you'll be moving it back into place at every mistake. The video I saw showed a player standing on it without breaking. If you stand on this version, it will crack. The app is a bit glitchy, but it works for the most part. Good for working on eye/hand coordination by not looking at the puck/ball because you're staring at the screen. I purchased this because it's adjustable and you can move it into zig zags, straight lines, or U shape. For that purpose alone, it's worth picking up. 3 stars for durability and being too light.
