My miniature poodle got colitis from eating kibble. My vet prescribed a diet of home cooked chicken, vegetable & rice with these added vitamins. It has cleared his system totally and he is now a frisky 12 years old after being on this diet for 4 years. He had been on a high quality kibble......but the hazards of purebreds made his digestive system too delicate to handle kibble. I believe his system had been put at hazard because he had been given all the recommended vaccinations in his first few years of life. Reading wholistic dog books alerted me to the toxicity this creates. Essential dog books are by Martin Goldstein ( The Nature of Animal Healing) and by Martin Zucker (Natural Remedies for Dogs).
My vet recommended Canine Geriatric Basics for my 14-year-old girl who had begun displaying clear symptoms of dementia. We also made other dietary alterations, but when we added this blend twice a day, we saw clear improvement within a week. She is now 15 and only rarely disoriented. It's not a cure, but it is an enormous help and support. (We also added unrefined coconut oil and extra curcumin.)
Our 12 yr old Westie was having trouble walking, moving and we started him on these and he’s back to normal! Thank you!
