I do not know who came up the idea to do away with an eye dropper and replace it with what in my estimation is a totally useless way of dispensing what is in the bottle. I have used this product before and was very satisfied, but this time, I cannot get the drops to come out of the bottle. I hope they saved a lot of money using this dispenser, because unless they change it, I will look elsewhere for my liquid D/K2. On a scale of 1 to 5 this dispenser is a -6. Whoever came up with this idea should be fired. They have taken a good product and made it nearly unusable. I will have to transfer the contents of this bottle to another bottle. 5 stars for idiocy. Way to go Thorne, I guess you have more customers than you need.
I have struggled with low vitamin D levels for 10 years. My Dr simply kept telling me to take 2,000 IU's over the counter - it did nothing, sitting in the sun did nothing. I had a severely bad panic attack, went to the ER, blood work showed vitamin D at 19 - severely low. I was put on 50,000 IU's via RX for 8 weeks (one pill per week), I was so sure this was the answer. It actually LOWERED my vitamin D level. Upon further investigation I found that the RX version is only available in D2, which is really non-beneficial. A nurse/massage therapist friend told me about this product. I stopped the RX and started this - took diligently for 45 days. I just had my vitamin D tested and it went from 19 to 60! I am SO HAPPY! In 10 years I e found nothing else that worked. I was very deficient so I doubled up and took 10 drops with breakfast & 10 drops with supper each day. I began by squirting the liquid in a cup with a tiny amount of water but my husband noticed residue in all my cups. So I started putting the drops directly under my tongue then drinking water. I will most likely back down to 5 drops twice a day now that my levels have gone up so well. BUY THIS if you struggle with low vitamin D. It works!
Been trying multiple brands, including Doctor recommended, in an attempt to get the D level up to 80 & prevent the return of cancer. After one bottle of this product, my level is finally 74. Been taking 10,000 per day and have thelevel checked every 6 months. Found a winner! Generally speaking, liquids/elixirs seem to work better than tabs.
