Love the vanilla. I've been using the chocolate version for a while that tends to be a bit griddy. The new vanilla flavor is creamy and tasty. I do tend to add spinach, fruit and make with coconut milk. Love my morning shakes. High quality and gives me good energy
This is more expensive than the regular Thorne Mediclear product, but it tastes MUCH better and with a detox, its important to be able to have this product 3x a day. I did the Thorne Mediclear 3 week detox program and bought both the chocolate and the original formula so I would have some variety. In the morning I would blend the original mediclear with some frozen fruit and the other 2 times, I would have the chocolate.Thorne says to have this with 8-10 oz of water or liquid, but if you add more liquid it tastes a lot better and the clumps dissolve. I would fill a large mason jar to the halfway point or a little above with almond milk and water, add the chocolate mediclear to the top, put the cap on and shake, drink immediately. When I went to work, I'd bring the mason jar already full of almond milk and at work, I'd add the water, add the mediclear from a plastic bag I brought and shake— no need for a blender. My only criticism is that Thorne claims there are 10 servings in this container (2 scoops = a serving), which is not the case at all. The whole cleanse should have been covered with 1 chocolate mediclear container and 1 regular mediclear container, but I ended up needing to buy a whole other chocolate to finish. Thats why I'm giving it 4 stars. I still have it once in awhile as a meal replacement with some great vitamins, so its not a problem, but it does get pricey.
Best protein powder you can buy - hands down. Its pricey, but look at the ingredients and you will see its worth it. You will be able to get rid of alot of other supplements you are taking if you have at least one serving per day of Mediclear SGS. I always order chocolate - it is gritty, and that takes some getting used to. Its best if you use at least 12 oz of liquid (I use unsweet almond milk), and then I top with some raw unsweet coconut flakes. Its very satisfying and a great way to add non whey/non soy protein into your diet.
