Defender Men’s Compression Baselayer Running Tights Defender Sports

★★★★★ So I wanted to wear these training pants a few times plus wash them at least a couple time before I reviewed. First of all out of the package they felt pretty good in hand. Very stretchy, nice fabric, not too thick but not too thin. For guys, you can probably wear them with out shorts, I prefer to layer a pair of shorts on top. The color is what is presented on the picture, very nice grey with white piping. The fit is as expected, I am shorty/stalky person 5'5" 200lbs, power-lifter body type. Having said that the mediums on the waist on me felt perfect, with my short legs, the length is about an inch, inch and half longer than what I would prefer, but I cant blame the pants for my short inseamed legs. After a couple washing's the pants look and feel the same. I typically don't dry my work out clothes with this type of material all the way, I kind of hang dry them after the initial 90% dry, if that makes sense and these pants do not shrink. The thick waist band stays in place and does not "roll over" like other brands I have tried and own. The seller offers many other color schemes and I will definitely be back to purchase some more compression pants and tops.

★★★★☆ I got these to wear underneath my shorts when working out, or just to wear as a second layer. Since the weather is getting colder I can also just wear these by itself going to bed or just around the house. Overall they are just comfortable to wear for any occasion. They are not really designed for insulating heat, but quite the opposite. Since they are specifically made for fitness as compression leggings, they are very breathable. For the price the quality is ok, thin but not too thin, Soft and breathable. But what i appreciated the most about these was the quality of the elastic waist band. Thick and the quality of the band is comparable with the expensive big name brand compression leggings. For sizing, in my personal opinion. Believe that they come a little bigger than its true size. Im 180lb 5'9, a little chubby=] and was debating between L & Xl and went with a XL, because i didn't want the L to be way to small at the waist and thighs, and butt, and had to consider leggings are supposed to conform to your body. The Xl fit well but for being compression leggings i expected to fit some what skin tight. They were kind if loose/big around the legs. I think a Large woudve fit much nicely. But in general i like them and think they are soft and stylish with the red accents, and the price is great. I do plan on buying them again in the future with their many different color options. The company seems to really consider your experience with your purchase and item, they personally send you a follow up email after you receive your purchase to see if you were satisfied or dissatisfied with the pruduct by leaving you some info if you ever wanted to return your item directly, making the process a little easier.

★★★★☆ I am 69 inches tall and about 190lbs. The length of these compression tights is just fine; however, they could stand to provide more compression and support to be truly considered a compression baselayer when compared to other, more universally known major brands. Since they don't fit as tight as "the other brands" I considered the sizing "somewhat large." Since they will stretch quite a bit, I recommend trying one size smaller than your norm and give it a go.

★★★☆☆ I love the pants themselves, but the quality is not there. The buttons for the suspenders in the back came off within the first week, so I exchanged the pants thinking it was a defective pair. New pair had the exact same issue, so I had to cut the belt end, take the clip off, and put the rear suspender loops through the belt. A real hassle, but it works. Buttons on the front are holding up so far.If you don't wear suspenders, you'll be fine.

★★★★★ They look great, fit as expected, and provides really good coverage without restricting movement in my legs. They were catching on my shin guards a bit, but a little extra tape on the socks cleared that up!

★★★★★ I had been using the same pants for about 15 years, and they finally broke so i purchased these, and have been pleasantly surprised. Much more streamlined, very comfortable with a good snug fit, and more padding than the old pants had. Great deal for the price.
